We are currently recruiting for a Negotiator to work alongside our Property Retentions team in Basingstoke. This role is focused on agreeing commercially advantageous rental reviews with landlords and lettings agents, in line with the rental market & government indexes. You\’ll manage negotiations & the administration of processing the reviews from start to finish, and ensure expectations are managed with professionalism and clarity.
You\’ll be responsible for maintaining a clear audit trail of decisions, managing your workload efficiently, and ensuring all services meet contractual and performance targets. Collaboration is key – you\’ll work closely with colleagues, partners, contractors and suppliers to deliver a seamless service. You\’ll also contribute to team meetings, share ideas for improvement, and support wider teams when needed.
Role Criteria
- Experience on Negotiating terms with third parties/stakeholders
- Able to manage workload efficiently, independently and meet deadlines
- Experience working with diverse client groups and understanding differing cultural needs
- Strong commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI)
- Comfortable maintaining accurate records and audit trails on company systems
- Able to escalate cases appropriately and provide timely updates to stakeholders
- Collaborative mindset with experience working across teams and external partners
