Hours: 42.5 per week
MPS has been caring for residents’ homes for over 25 years. As part of the Mears Group, we offer partnership solutions and expertise in estate management and property maintenance.
Annual salary: up to £35,278.74
Location: Covering Ealing Area
Salary: £35,278.74 per annum, including company van, fuel card, PPE, uniform, etc.
Delivering property services, including reactive repairs, planned and cyclical maintenance to over 100 local authorities and housing providers nationwide.
We are seeking five Multi Skilled Operatives to join us in the Ealing/Kent Area to support our partnership with Orbit, providing excellent service and support to the local community.
About The Role
As a Multi Skilled Operative with MPS, you’ll handle larger jobs like bathroom and kitchen fittings, as well as smaller reactive repairs across our properties. You will work from ‘job’ to ‘job’, performing a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks.
Previous experience, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well with others and independently are essential. Meeting new people and delivering high standards of work are key to success.
This role covers areas such as Hampshire and London (South, West, and some of the North).
Role Criteria
- Extensive experience in trades such as Carpentry & Joinery, Plastering, Plumbing, and Glazing
- Full UK Driving License
- Own tools
- Team player with initiative
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- IT literacy for PDA use
- Willing to travel
- Trade qualification preferred, especially with limited experience
