Location: London - Kensington Kensal Road

Contract: Full Time, Permanent, 42.5 hours per week Monday - Friday

Salary: up to £38,850 per annum, plus a company van

This programme focuses on delivering high-quality planned improvement works, enhancing resident experience and ensuring homes remain safe, sustainable and fit for the future. About the Role:

  • Support the successful delivery of refurbishment and planned maintenance projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on time and to the highest standards.
  • Work alongside the Site Manager and wider operational team to drive quality, customer satisfaction and commercial performance whilst maintaining excellent relationships with residents, clients and subcontractors.
  • Assist in the management of the day-to-day operational delivery of planned work contracts and all associated staff, ensuring contractual KPIs are achieved and maintained.
  • Check the quality of work in line with building regulations.
  • Oversee internal and external works including cyclical works, K&B upgrades, new windows, doors and scaffolding to blocks of flats and working at height.
  • Support the management and monitoring of work programme progression and completion via ongoing site visits and WIP/Post inspections.
  • Ensure regular communication with line manager on site progress, advising of issues which may impact/change the contract programme.
  • Assist in the management of sub-contractors, ensuring compliance and adherence to H&S regulations, Mears standard operating procedures & values, quality assurance accreditations, CDM and the company's commitment to best practice.
  • Be fundamental in the collection and collation of evidence gathering to ensure compliance with H&S and Quality.

  • Driving License
  • Managing, monitoring, recording and reporting of Health & Safety and compliance
  • Good technical knowledge of internal or external refurbishment works
  • Interpersonal and communication skills

  • Planning, programming and organisational skills
  • IT literate with good written & communication skills

It would be advantageous to have experience of working on social housing and Resident liaison experience but this is not essential.
