About The Role
As an Accommodation Coordinator you will work as part of the initial accommodation team, allocating bed spaces to service users quickly to minimise loss of income. Your role will involve relocating users, finding new properties, and ensuring safeguarding and service‑user experience remain at the heart of the service. You will work closely with regional teams and the transport team throughout the service‑user process.
Role Criteria
- Allocate bedspaces promptly to minimise income loss
- Relocate users or identify new properties for incoming placements
- Prioritise safeguarding and service‑user experience in all accommodation decisions
- Accurately process service‑user notifications to ensure appropriate matches
- Collaborate closely with regional and transport teams throughout the placement process
- Maintain clear communication and coordination across departments
- Support operational efficiency by managing property turnover and occupancy levels
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience for service users
- Demonstrate previous office‑environment experience
- Confidently make and answer phone calls as part of daily coordination
- Carry out administrative duties with accuracy and attention to detail
- Be IT literate, with strong proficiency in Microsoft platforms (Outlook, Excel, Teams)
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and service users, showing strong interpersonal skills
