Join us on our new, exciting contract with Birmingham City Council. Mears Group has been awarded a major new 10-year partnership with Birmingham City Council to deliver repairs, maintenance, and planned investment work across 11,500 homes in central and west Birmingham. This contract represents one of our most significant projects in the city and will create a wide range of opportunities across our operational teams.
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Qualified Supervisor to oversee the effective delivery of contract activities on our Birmingham contract, ensuring compliance with internal procedures, health and safety regulations, and quality standards. You will work closely with the client offering electrical support and advice when required.
The role involves:
- Managing MCM job scheduling
- Ensuring meters are calibrated
- Supervising a small team of employees along with subcontractors
- Monitoring work progress through regular site visits
- Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standard
- Compiling operational reports
- Upholding Mears’ values and procedures
