Location: Cardiff
Salary: up to £40,537.99 per annum plus car allowance
Type: Permanent, Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Role Overview
As a Continuous Improvement Manager in Caerphilly, you will oversee the responsive repair service, ensuring KPI achievement, innovation, and team management, including operatives and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control work within geographical or property type contracts, including inspections.
- Mentor operatives and trainees, ensuring health & safety compliance.
- Manage progress and completion of works, ensuring contract standards and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee operatives and subcontractors to meet performance, safety, and quality standards.
- Maximize contract performance, minimize penalties, and ensure high customer service levels.
Candidate Criteria
- Experience in social housing and supervising operatives/subcontractors.
- Knowledge of repairs and maintenance.
- Strong communication and people management skills.
- Negotiation skills.
- Trade, management, or health & safety qualifications are desirable.
Note: Applicants must have UK work entitlement; Mears does not sponsor visas. DBS/security checks are required. To drive a Mears vehicle, applicants must be over 21, have held a license for over 3 months, and have less than 9 points.
