Role: Production Operative
They are seeking a dedicated and reliable Production Operative to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting our manufacturing operations, ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of SMC and BMC materials for their diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Ensure the correct handling, mixing, and processing of raw materials
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to meet company and customer specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Complete production documentation and reports as required
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow
- Assist with routine maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and product quality
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime as required
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to follow technical instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- FLT License ideal
- Be able to work rotational shifts of 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10am (TOIL available)
