Our client, is a leading supplier and manufacturer of SMC & BMC materials across Europe.
Role: Operations Administrator
They are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Administrator to join their dynamic team. Based in Burnley, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the smooth and efficient running of their manufacturing and logistics processes. This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary of between to £35,000 to £40,000 for the ideal candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the operations team, ensuring efficient day-to-day running of production, logistics, and supply chain activities.
- Responsible for stock counting, manual adjustments to stock and lead the stock take.
- Compare and challenge general contracts and Fork Lift Truck contracts. Collate quotes for Investments and collaborate with Ops Manager and Finance to finalise.
- Responsible for performing all return to works for production staff and liaising with HR on production payroll.
- All temporary staff time sheets to be filled in and signed off weekly.
- Assist Ops Manager producing KPI reports for Operations.
- Maintain accurate records of production schedules, inventory levels, and shipment documentation.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in an operations, production, or supply chain administration role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English (other European languages beneficial).
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and comfortable with ERP or similar systems.
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset and a team player attitude.
Salary & Working Hours
- This is a permanent position – 5 days a week on-site
- Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience
- Office Hours: 8-4 Mon to Fri
- Collaborative and supportive working environment
