Meallmore is recruiting Support Workers to join the team at Manor Care Centre in Nairn, a purpose built care home supporting people with physical, neurological, and learning disabilities. This role suits someone with a kind, caring nature who wants a stable role with training, support, and clear opportunities to progress in health and social care.

The role

  • You will provide high quality care and support in line with individual care and support plans.
  • You will assist residents with personal care and daily living activities.
  • You will help create a positive, supportive environment and contribute to the general life of the care home.
  • You will work in line with Meallmore policies, national care standards, and SSSC codes of practice.
  • You will collaborate with colleagues across the care team to ensure consistent, person centred support.

Working pattern

  • Full time and part time roles are available.
  • Shifts are worked in line with the needs of the service.
  • The role is based at Manor Care Centre in Nairn.

What we are looking for

  • You will have a caring and respectful approach to supporting others.
  • You will have good communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Experience in care is helpful but not essential.
  • If required, you must be willing to register with the SSSC, with support provided by Meallmore.
  • SVQ Level 2 or above in Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential.
