Hours: 27.5 hours per week

Your Role and Responsibilities
- Support the Head chef to organise, plan and prepare meals ensuring that all home cooked food not only looks and tastes delicious but also reflects the preferences and dietary requirements of each resident.
- Working alongside the Head Chef in providing guidance and training to care teams on understanding and implementing safe and appropriate textured food options for residents, ensuring compliance with dietary standards.
- Comply with industry and Meallmore quality, hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- You will be involved in menu development, tailoring around resident's needs, likes and dislikes to ensure we deliver person-centred hospitality.
Skills & Requirements
- Strong cookery skills and creativity in preparing home cooked nutritious meals for our residents.
- A personal and warm approach with a genuine interest of the well-being of our residents.
- Ability to work to deadlines meeting the needs of the residents.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of food safety practices.
- Knowledge of nutrition, dietary needs and food allergies is desirable but not essential.
- A culinary qualification is desirable but not essential.
