Role Overview: As a Senior Care Assistant with Meallmore you will have a vital role in guiding our team in our mission to provide high-quality, personalised care; collaborating with the Registered Nurse/Team Leader to consider, plan, implement, and evaluate the comprehensive care needs of each individual using our service. Cultivate and encourage a positive work environment and practices that are safe and meet all relevant standards, policies, and legislation. Utilise an all-inclusive approach to achieve outcomes in cooperation with all departments within our care service.

What we’re looking for: You’re registered as a supervisor with the Scottish Social Services Council, within the necessary timeframe. You’re on a journey to obtain the qualifications needed for SSSC registration. Holding an SVQ level 3 or higher, or its equivalent, in Social Services & Healthcare is a desirable trait. You have a PDA or an equivalent in Supervision. You’ll successfully graduate from the Meallmore Upskills Academy Senior Care Worker Programme.

Pay rate: £13.53 – £14.50 + Competitive benefits + overtime rates.
