Our friendly team at Meallmore are looking for a Housekeeping/ Laundry Assistant to be part of the team in Culduthel Care Home. Located in Inverness, Culduthel offers a choice of modern, luxury private ensuite rooms and executive suites that include all modern conveniences and are fully accessible. We provide the highest quality 24 hour personalised nursing care for older people, including the frail elderly and those living with dementia and its related conditions.

Our mentorship programme and ongoing learning and development will give you all the support you need to develop your skills and progress in your career.

Your role as a Meallmore Housekeeping Assistant will include:

  • Perform daily cleaning and sanitisation of resident rooms, common areas, and facilities to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Handle laundry and ensure proper handling of residents' personal items.
  • Restock and maintain supplies in resident rooms and common areas.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines to protect the health of our residents.
  • Communicate effectively with residents and staff to meet their needs and address any concerns.
  • Daily completion of cleaning schedules and documents

Skills and Requirements:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
