Salary: £13.54 per hour

Hours: 15 hours per week

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality hairdressing services to our residents, including haircuts, styling, perms, colouring, and other salon treatments
  • Create a warm and welcoming environment, ensuring our residents feel comfortable and relaxed during their appointments
  • Maintain a clean and organised salon area following sanitation and hygiene protocols to ensure the safety of our residents
  • Establish strong relationships with residents, engaging in friendly conversations, and attending to their individual needs
  • Collaborate with our care team to understand any specific care requirements or limitations for residents when providing hairdressing services

Skills & Requirements:

  • Proven experience in providing hairdressing services
  • SVQ / NVQ in hairdressing desirable but not essential
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanour, able to build rapport and communicate effectively with our residents
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a caring team to enhance our residents' overall experience
  • Sensitivity and understanding of the unique needs and preferences of individuals
