Pitfodels Wood is our brand new 65-bed, luxury care home located in Aberdeen’s prestigious Pitfodels Conservation Area in the city’s sought-after West End. Combining five-star hospitality with high-quality, person-centred care, we are setting a new benchmark for care in the North East.

As an Experience Coordinator, you will be at the heart of our luxury care home, creating an exceptional and welcoming environment for residents, families, and visitors. As the first point of contact, you will provide a seamless blend of first-class hospitality and outstanding customer service, ensuring every interaction is warm, professional, and personalised. With a passion for excellence and a keen eye for detail, you will help create memorable experiences and support the high standards of comfort, care, and hospitality that define Pitfodels Wood and sets us apart.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver a warm, inviting, and memorable welcome to residents, families, and visitors, ensuring every interaction reflects the exceptional standards of hospitality and service at Pitfodels Wood.
  • Build meaningful relationships with residents, families and visitors, taking the time to understand their individual preferences and what matters most to them, ensuring a truly personalised and welcoming experience.
  • Proactively provide refreshments within the café areas and dining rooms, ensuring residents and visitors receive an exceptional service.
  • Ensure the café remains fully stocked and offers a welcoming, engaging, and stimulating environment for residents, families, and visitors.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, presentation, and overall appearance of the café to the highest Meallmore standards.
  • Work closely with colleagues across the home to ensure residents enjoy meaningful, positive, and memorable experiences every day.

What we are looking for

  • Experience working within a front-of-house hospitality environment, such as waiting, barista, or similar customer-facing role.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, visitors, and colleagues while demonstrating kindness, compassion, and empathy.
  • A strong understanding of the importance of delivering excellent customer service, with a customer service qualification desirable.
  • A keen eye for detail, ensuring the home, café, and communal areas are always presented to the highest standards.
  • Positive, proactive, and approachable with a passion for creating exceptional experiences for residents and visitors.
