Join our dedicated team as an Activities Coordinator where you will work as an integral part of our team planning, coordinating and facilitating imaginative, meaningful and vibrant activity programmes for our residents - bringing people together to laugh, share experiences and memories, and of course have great fun!
Salary
£13.60 per hour +Competitive benefits + overtime rates

30 hours per week, including evenings and weekends
Role and Responsibilities
- Create a diverse range of engaging and motivational activity programmes tailoredto our residents’ abilities, interests and preferences maximising everyone’s independence,socialisationand wellbeing
- Represent Meallmore with pride - build strong relationships with the local community and collaborate with families,colleaguesand wider stakeholders
- Coordinate and lead group activities, such as arts and crafts, games, music sessions, exercise classes, outings away from the home, and social events
- Work with the care team toinvolve them in the delivery of theactivitiesand events
- Source and manage external entertainers, performers, or volunteers from within the local community
- Maintainaccuraterecords including resident participation and feedback of daily activities
- Beyond that,it’sall about your creative approach, infectiousenthusiasmand caring nature
What wearelooking for:
- Experience of working in a similar role is desirable but not essential
- Demonstration of excellent communication skills, having theability to communicate with a range of stakeholders
- Proven ability inplanning, organising and being flexible in your approach
- Good IT skillsbeing confident in the use of IT applicationsand social media platforms
- You willberequiredto drivecompany vehicles, therefore full driving licence is essential
- Friendly, creative,enthusiasticand confident personality that shines through in what you do
