Our Meallmore team at Daviot are ready to warmly welcome you as a Catering Assistant within their care home. Located in Inverness in the picturesque Scottish Highlands, Daviot Care Home provides high quality nursing care for residents affected by general frailty and also has specialist units for those living with dementia and mental health conditions.
As a Catering Assistant, Meallmore will allocate you your own mentor, as well as a comprehensive induction process. Our mentorship programme and ongoing training will give you all the support you need to develop your skills and progress in your career whether that be a Sous Chef, Cook, or Head Chef, the choice is yours!
Your role as a Meallmore Catering Assistant will include:
- Keeping the kitchen areas clean and tidy
- Supporting the catering team with basic food preparation as they create seasonal meals for our residents
- Properly cleaning and sanitising all food preparation areas according to established standards of hygiene
- Assist with specialist dietary requirements
- Serve nutritional meals
Required skills:
- Basic knowledge of food preparation
