As a Support Worker with Meallmore you'll use your intuition and empathy to help our residents get the most out of life. You'll work as part of a team to support residents with complex needs, making a big difference to their lives and ensuring they are always treated with dignity and respect.
Salary: £13.45- £13.50 per hour depending on experience
Hours: 37.37 hours per week
Your role and responsibilities
Your role is crucial in creating a safe and supportive environment for our residents to flourish. Prioritising their wellbeing, you will provide personalised care, guidance, and advocacy to help them reach their full potential. Support residents by delivering tailored care that ensures their overall well-being needs are met.
On a day-to-day basis, support worker duties could include:
- Prompting and assisting with personal care
- Supporting managing finances
- Shopping
- Preparing and cooking meals
- Domestic duties
- Scheduling and attending appointments
- Meeting friends or family
- Providing general social and emotional support
The list really is endless. Supporting residents to live their best lives as independently as they can, keeping them safe, helping them to make choices, and ensuring that they lead full and rich lives in the care home and beyond.
What we are looking for

- SVQ level 2 or above/equivalent in Health and Social Care (as per SSSC guidelines) is desirable
