For you, as a Housekeeping Assistantthe role involvesbeing responsible formaintainingthe highest levels of cleanliness in public areasand bedroomswithin the home, you will alsobe responsible forthe wash, dry, iron and put away of laundry.The variety of housekeeping and cleaning tasks you carry out will ensure everyone can enjoy a clean,tidyand welcoming environment. This meansyou’llhave a direct impact on our residents, their visitors and all thecolleaguesworking to support them.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that our residents' care home facilities, public areas androomsaremaintainedto the highest cleaning standards.
  • You will ideally bring experience from a housekeeping or domestic cleaning role, along with a basic understanding of infection control, COSHH, and compliance standards, however full training will be provided if this role is new to you.
  • Replenish andmaintainsupplies in both resident rooms andcommon areas.
  • Communicate effectively with residents andcolleaguesto address needs and concerns.
