What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in maintenance, ideally in healthcare or senior living environments
  • Knows your way around basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks
  • Is a problem-solver with a keen eye for detail
  • Is self-motivated and good at managing your own time
  • Is a great communicator and a team player
  • Can keep your work area clean and safe
  • Has basic IT skills
  • Willing to learn whatever you need to do the job right

Salary: £13.20 per hour

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Role and responsibilities:

  • Swiftly and efficiently handle any general maintenance work and record-keeping within the care home
  • Guarantee all Compliance and Mandatory checks are completed and recorded within the designated timeframe
  • Prioritise a safe environment for all our residents and colleagues
  • Maintain all equipment utilised by employees and residents to the highest standard, ensuring it’s always ready for use
  • Keep garden areas, driveways, and paths tidy and welcoming at all times
  • Follow all purchasing routines as outlined by Meallmore Ltd.
