As a Deputy Manager, you’ll enjoy a yearly salary of £50,200 whilst playing a vital part in leading and supporting high-quality care for Meallmore customers.
Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAs a nurturing guide for our dedicated care home team, you will work hand-in-hand with the care home manager, ensuring our cherished Meallmore customers receive the highest quality of care. Your responsibilities include:
- Upholding all statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Implementing and monitoring Meallmore’s corporate standards, policies, procedures, and technology systems.
- Fulfilling the duties of a ‘Responsible Person’/’Registered Individual’ as directed by your line manager.
- Stepping into the shoes of the home manager when they are away.
- Providing clinical oversight at care home level.
- Pitching in with on-call duties.
- Care Home experience.
- Motivational leader – fostering a nurturing environment for key team members to encourage a culture of growth and advancement.
- Team player providing clear direction.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and legislation.
- Positive role model who inspires others.
- IT literate and confident using Microsoft packages.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with both internal colleagues and external customers.
- Professional qualification comparable to a degree or management qualification is required, alongside a nursing qualification, which is desired but not mandatory.
