Join our dedicated team as an Activities Coordinator where you will work as an integral part of our team planning, coordinating and facilitating imaginative, meaningful and vibrant activity programmes for our residents – bringing people together to laugh, share experiences and memories, and of course have great fun!
Salary: £12.41 per hour
Hours: 20 hours per week, 4 pm – 8 pm

Your role and responsibilities
- Create a diverse range of engaging and motivational activity programmes tailored to our residents’ abilities, interests and preferences maximising everyone’s independence, socialisation and wellbeing
- Represent Meallmore with pride – build strong relationships with the local community and collaborate with families, colleagues and wider stakeholders
- Coordinate and lead group activities, such as arts and crafts, games, music sessions, exercise classes, outings away from the home, and social events
- Work with the care team to involve them in the delivery of the activities and events
- Source and manage external entertainers, performers, or volunteers from within the local community
- Maintain accurate records including resident participation and feedback of daily activities
- Beyond that, it’s all about your creative approach, infectious enthusiasm and caring nature
What we are looking for:
- Experience of working in a similar role is desirable but not essential
- Demonstration of excellent communication skills, having the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders
- Proven ability in planning, organising and being flexible in your approach
- Good IT skills being confident in the use of IT applications and social media platforms
- You will be required to drive company vehicles; therefore a full driving licence is essential
- Friendly, creative, enthusiastic and confident personality that shines through in what you do
