Meadows & Moran is a traditional law firm located in the heart of Romford. Having served the local community from our South Street offices for over 40 years, we pride ourselves on providing a personal, high-quality service built on decades of local knowledge. We are looking for an experienced Solicitor/Legal Executive to join our close-knit team and help carry forward our long-standing reputation.

We are seeking a versatile Solicitor/Legal Executive able to deal with both Residential and some Commercial Conveyancing. This is a full-time, in-office position suitable for a professional who values the stability of a practice with four decades of history. You will manage a diverse caseload from instruction through to completion, providing expert legal advice to a mix of long-standing and new clients. Own following would be helpful but not essential. Working from home is a possibility that may be agreed on one or perhaps two days a week (depending on the clients' requirements for face-to-face contact and cover for staff holidays) but please note that during the initial six months full-time office attendance will be required.

We are also seeking a versatile solicitor specialising in Residential and preferably some Commercial Conveyancing to assist a partner with the existing caseload. The position is similar to the previous role but would be suitable for someone who wishes to work shorter hours/have more flexibility. As with the first role, working from home one to two days a week is a possibility subject to the necessity for an initial in-person attendance during the first 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a varied caseload of residential property matters (freehold/leasehold, sales, purchases, transfers of equity, and remortgages).
  • Utilising Leap case management software for document automation and file management would be useful.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with a valid practising certificate and proven experience.
  • Proven experience in both Residential and Commercial Conveyancing.

Location: Romford

Normal Office Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Salary: Competitive, based on experience.
