We are a respected and well-established law firm based in Weybridge, known for delivering high-quality legal services across Surrey and the surrounding regions. Our Family Department continues to grow, and we are seeking an experienced Family Lawyer (4+ years PQE) to join our supportive, collaborative, and forward-thinking team.

The Role

As a key member of the Family Department, you will manage a varied caseload of family matters while working closely with the Head of Department. This role offers genuine opportunities for progression, exposure to high-quality work, and the chance to help shape the department’s future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a broad caseload including:
    • Divorce and separation
    • Pre- and post-nuptial agreements
    • Cohabitation agreements and disputes
  • Provide clear, empathetic, and strategic advice to clients.
  • Prepare legal documents, attend court hearings, and manage negotiations.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, networking, and client relationship management.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across the firm and report regularly to the Head of Department.

About You

  • 4+ years’ PQE in Family Law (private client focus essential).
  • Strong technical knowledge and a confident, proactive approach.
  • Excellent communication skills and client-care standards.
  • Ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
  • Desire to contribute to the growth and development of the department.
