Overview

Chef De Partie – Stables at Mortonhall Bar & Restaurant, Edinburgh. Permanent role with Β£13 p/h plus tips, pension scheme, full-time hours (including weekends), free on-site parking, and share of tips.

Opportunity

We are seeking an inspirational and creative Chef de Partie to collaborate with the Sous Chef at The Stable Bar & Restaurant located next to the Mortonhall caravan and camping park in Edinburgh. Inside the archway at the Mortonhall Stable Courtyard you will find The Stable Bar & Restaurant which offers a family dining experience with a range of wines, spirits and beers. The sheltered courtyard provides a place to sit in summer and a fire in winter. There is outside seating in the stable courtyard and the Saddle Room can accommodate larger parties.

Candidate Attributes

Excellent customer service skills, passion for presenting new ideas and enthusiasm to build upon the current success of the operation are highly valued attributes. Reporting to the Head Chef, candidates should demonstrate a successful record of achievement and experience in commercial catering kitchen operations, including dish preparations, with the ability to lead and inspire the restaurant team to deliver excellent customer experience. Adherence to health and safety systems and driving food standards are prerequisites, in collaboration with Bar & Restaurant management and service team.
