The Opportunity
We are seeking a practical, skilled, and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our busy caravan and camping park team. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on maintenance experience, excellent technical ability, and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship across a varied outdoor environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the overall presentation, safety, and operational standards of the park, supporting both guest satisfaction and the smooth day-to-day running of the site.
- Tractor operation experience is highly desirable, alongside general handyman and multi-trade maintenance skills.
About the Role
Working across the caravan and camping park, you will carry out a wide range of planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance duties. The position requires a proactive individual who can work independently, identify issues before they escalate, and consistently maintain high site standards. This is a physically active outdoor role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, takes ownership of their responsibilities, and can adapt to changing operational priorities during busy periods.
Key Responsibilities – Reporting to the General Manager
- General Site Maintenance
- Maintain the overall appearance, cleanliness, and functionality of the park grounds and facilities.
- Carry out daily inspections of the site and report or resolve maintenance issues promptly.
- Ensure pathways, roads, fencing, drainage areas, and communal spaces remain safe and well maintained.
- Facilities Upkeep & Repairs
- Perform general repairs and maintenance across park buildings, accommodation units, utility areas, and infrastructure.
- Complete minor carpentry, plumbing, painting, decorating, and repair tasks to a high standard.
- Maintain water systems, fixtures, gates, signage, lighting, and external furniture.
- Preventive & Reactive Maintenance.
- Respond efficiently to maintenance requests and operational breakdowns.
- Carry out preventative maintenance schedules on equipment, facilities, and infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot faults and implement practical repair solutions with minimal disruption.
- Assist with pitch maintenance, seasonal setup, and operational support across the park.
- Contribute to the smooth operation of the park during busy guest changeovers and events.
- Safely operate and maintain machinery and powered equipment.
- Caravan Park Operations Support
- Tractor driving and towing experience is desirable.

- Tractor driving and implement operation.
- Trailer towing experience (B+E desirable).
