Receptionist / Booking Team - Billing Aquadrome - Northampton, Northamptonshire
Location: Billing Aquadrome NN3 9DA Contract: Seasonal 16 hours (per week) Job Summary To provide a professional and friendly first point of contact for customers while efficiently managing bookings, enquiries, and administrative tasks.
The role ensures excellent customer service and the smooth day-to-day operation of the reception and booking functions.
Key Responsibilities Welcome customers and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
Answer incoming telephone calls and respond to email enquiries promptly.
Manage bookings, appointments, and cancellations using the company's booking system.
Confirm customer appointments and provide relevant booking information.
Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues or escalate them where necessary.
Process payments and issue receipts where required.
Maintain accurate customer records and update databases.
Liaise with colleagues to coordinate schedules and ensure efficient service delivery.
Monitor daily booking availability and maximise appointment utilisation.
Carry out general administrative duties, including filing, scanning, and data entry.
Keep the reception area clean, organised, and welcoming.
Follow company procedures relating to confidentiality, health and safety, and data protection.
Skills and Experience Previous experience in a reception, customer service, or bookings role is desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a busy environment.
Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and booking or CRM systems.
Professional telephone manner.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
