Retail Team Job Description

The Retail Team are responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a safe, friendly, and efficient manner. They ensure customers have a positive experience by maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming bar environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve drinks according to recipes and customer requests.
  • Ensure the venue is spotless.
  • Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service.
  • Check identification to verify legal drinking age where required.
  • Process payments using cash registers or card payment systems.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar, glassware, and work areas.
  • Restock beverages, ice, garnishes, and other supplies.
  • Monitor customer alcohol consumption and promote responsible drinking.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations.
  • Work effectively with team members to ensure smooth service, especially during busy periods.
