Sports & Leisure Team Member - At Meadow Bay Villages, we pride ourselves on creating unforgettable leisure experiences for guests of all ages. Our extensive aquatic offering includes a state-of-the-art indoor swimming pool complete with a kids’ area and exciting water slides, an outdoor splash park, a water sports lake featuring Northamptonshire’s largest floating inflatable aqua park, and a collection of premium hot tubs for relaxation and luxury.
Hours: Shift-based, including weekends and public holidays
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain continuous and focused observation of all water areas, ensuring the safety of all swimmers and guests.
- Operate and supervise water attractions, including slides, Pool, Splash Park & other water related activities.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, performing rescues and administering first aid where required.
- Adhere to all relevant legislation, including Health & Safety, Hygiene, First Aid, and Fire Evacuation protocols.
- Complete all paperwork neatly and accurately within specified deadlines.
- Report all potential accidents, hazards, and near-miss incidents to management.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of poolside, changing, and leisure areas.
- Assist in the delivery and organisation of activities within the sports and water resorts programmes.
- Foster a welcoming, team-oriented environment for colleagues and guests alike.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Must hold relevant & valid NPLQ.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact / engage with guests of all ages.
- Compliance management skills to ensure pool rules and regulations are always adhered to.
- Must be at least 17 years old.
