The Guest Services Representative (Receptionist) is the first point of contact for visitors and guests. This role is responsible for providing a welcoming environment, handling front desk operations, and delivering excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for all guests.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
  • Provide accurate information about services, facilities, or company policies.
  • Manage reservations, bookings, or appointments (if applicable).
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable reception area.
  • Receive and sort mail, deliveries, and packages.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and scheduling.
  • Coordinate with other departments to meet guest needs.
  • Ensure security procedures are followed (e.g., visitor logs, ID checks).

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a receptionist, front desk representative, or customer service role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
  • Professional appearance and attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office, booking systems).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, High school diploma or equivalent (college degree is a plus).
  • Experience in hospitality, hotel, or customer-facing environments.
  • Knowledge of reservation or CRM systems.
  • May require working shifts, weekends, or holidays.
  • Fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment.
