The Guest Services Representative (Receptionist) is the first point of contact for visitors and guests. This role is responsible for providing a welcoming environment, handling front desk operations, and delivering excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for all guests.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
- Provide accurate information about services, facilities, or company policies.
- Manage reservations, bookings, or appointments (if applicable).
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable reception area.
- Receive and sort mail, deliveries, and packages.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and scheduling.
- Coordinate with other departments to meet guest needs.
- Ensure security procedures are followed (e.g., visitor logs, ID checks).
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a receptionist, front desk representative, or customer service role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office, booking systems).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, High school diploma or equivalent (college degree is a plus).
- Experience in hospitality, hotel, or customer-facing environments.
