Principal Civil Engineer - design works for water and wastewater projects throughout Northern Ireland and UK. Specialist design of highway bridges, complex temporary works and structural piling.
Responsibilities
- Producing Technical Reports
- Providing Assistance to senior management in the preparation of technical and financial proposals
- Contribute to work winning and preparation of bid documents
- Manage personal / team budgets and resources
- Keep up to date with industry best practice
- Act in the role of Contractor's Responsible Engineer
- Coordinating and ensuring the production of specification and drawings
- Undertaking concept design, feasibility studies and preliminary design
- Attendance at meetings with team clients, contractors and statutory bodies including Technical Approvals, as required
- Provide supervision and training to staff
Skills and Qualifications
- Chartered Civil Engineer
- Effective communication skills in a Client facing role
- Proven experience of delivering projects to time and budget
- Proven experience of inspection, assessment and design of various structures
- 10 years design experience in a range of civil engineering projects
- Full UK Driving Licence
