The Opportunity
An established fire and security business is looking for a commercially minded Estimator to join its team in Loughton.
This is a varied role combining estimating, commercial management and business development. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing competitive quotations and tenders while actively supporting the company's growth by identifying new opportunities, developing client relationships and helping secure new contracts.
Working across London, Essex and Kent, you will play an important role in driving revenue, maximising commercial opportunities and building long-term relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities
·Prepare accurate and competitive quotations, estimates and tender submissions for fire and security projects.
·Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation to establish project requirements and costs.
·Price materials, equipment, labour and subcontractor packages.
·Identify and pursue new business opportunities to help grow the company's client base.
·Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients.
·Follow up on quotations and tenders to improve conversion rates and secure new contracts.
·Liaise with clients to understand their requirements, discuss proposals and identify additional opportunities.
·Work closely with internal teams, suppliers and subcontractors to develop commercially viable solutions.
·Identify opportunities to upsell services and generate repeat business.

Requirements
·Previous experience in Estimating, Sales Estimator or similar commercial role within the fire and security industry.
