An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor to join a Tier-1 M&E Contractor renowned for delivering high-profile projects across Commercial Shell & Core, Office Fit-Outs, Life-Sciences, Data Centre, Infrastructure sectors. As a Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor, you will manage the financial performance and commercial success of complex projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the commercial management of M&E packages on high-value projects
- Manage project budgets, cost control, forecasting and cash flow
- Administer contracts including valuations, variations and change control
- Procure and manage subcontractor and supplier packages
- Prepare and present monthly cost and value reports
- Measure and value works completed and assess subcontractor applications
- Lead final account negotiations with clients and supply chain
- Identify and manage commercial risk and opportunity
- Maintain effective commercial relationships with clients, consultants and internal teams
- Support and mentor junior commercial staff as required
Qualifications & Experience
- HND/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in M&E Quantity Surveying, ideally with Tier-1 M&E contractors.
- Strong understanding of M&E systems, cost control, and standard contracts (JCT/NEC).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
Salary & Package
- Competitive salary: £85,000 - £105,000 (depending on experience).
- Comprehensive benefits package, including paid travel expenses, performance bonuses, pension, and healthcare.
