Mission
As Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and organisation within our kitchen operations. You will support the culinary team by ensuring all kitchen equipment, utensils and back-of-house areas are maintained to exceptional standards, helping deliver a seamless dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain clean, organised and sanitised back-of-house food and beverage areas
- Ensure all kitchen utensils, crockery and operating equipment are cleaned and available for service
- Support kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness throughout all food production areas
- Monitor and minimise breakage and loss of operating equipment
- Follow all back-of-house cleaning schedules and waste disposal procedures
- Ensure hygiene and HACCP standards are consistently maintained
- Assist with fridge and freezer cleaning schedules
- Safely store and handle kitchen equipment and cleaning supplies
- Work closely with chefs and kitchen teams to support smooth daily operations
- Maintain excellent health, safety and hygiene practices at all times
- Support the wider stewarding team and cover duties when required

- Previous experience in a kitchen, stewarding or hospitality environment is beneficial
- Strong understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
