Mission:

As Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and organisation within our kitchen operations. You will support the culinary team by ensuring all kitchen equipment, utensils and back‑of‑house areas are maintained to exceptional standards, helping deliver a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain clean, organised and sanitized back‑of‑house food and beverage areas
  • Ensure all kitchen utensils, crockery and operating equipment are cleaned and available for service
  • Support kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness throughout all food production areas
  • Monitor and minimise breakage and loss of operating equipment
  • Follow all back‑of‑house cleaning schedules and waste disposal procedures
  • Ensure hygiene and HACCP standards are consistently maintained
  • Assist with fridge and freezer cleaning schedules
  • Safely store and handle kitchen equipment and cleaning supplies
  • Work closely with chefs and kitchen teams to support smooth daily operations
  • Maintain excellent health, safety and hygiene practices at all times
  • Support the wider stewarding team and cover duties when required

  • Previous experience in a kitchen, stewarding or hospitality environment is beneficial
  • Strong understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards
