About ME London Hotel, WC2R 1HA by Meliá is a collection of hotels in which culture, lifestyle and The ME People community come together to create an inimitable personality. We’re looking for a proactive and personable Junior Concierge to support the day-to-day operations of our Concierge team. In this role, you’ll step in for the Head Concierge or Assistant Head Concierge when needed, ensuring smooth operations and top-tier guest service. You’ll also help guide and motivate the team, contribute to departmental planning, and uphold the highest standards in guest relations, health & safety, and team performance.

Salary: from £28,000 up to £28,980 plus Service charge

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the leadership of the Concierge department, managing staff schedules and day-to-day operations.
  • Provide exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Assist in recruitment, training, and ongoing development of team members.
  • Monitor and maintain health & safety, fire, and security practices in line with hotel policies.
  • Maintain departmental SOPs, training records, and ensure compliance with all operational procedures.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Manage department resources, supplies, and cost controls efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate shift handover reports and internal communication logs.

  • Previous front office or concierge experience in a hotel environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of London.

  • Familiarity with hotel operations and guest service procedures.
