The Role
We have an exciting Property Specialist opportunity, supporting critical aviation operations and defence missions.
Based in Fairford, UK you’ll get to work alongside our dedicated workforce on a UK Military base.
Prior inventory experience will be required, although additional training will be provided on site.
This role is a fantastic chance for you to further develop your skills as a Property Specialist, working with a diverse range of military equipment in an exciting environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs reconciliation of all inventories performed by Physical Inventory Branch.
- Assists Inventory Supervisor in developing production schedules, inventory reports, and availability of requiredmaterial and priorities of customer orders.
- Downloads collected data from scanning devices and ensures scanners are operational for next day's inventory activities.
- Operates a computerized remote terminal.
- Ensures materials inventory stocks are frozen from issue transactions during scheduled inventory.
- Evaluates quality of each inventory performed to include all discrepancies (overages/shortages).
- Assures resolution of inventory discrepancies while ensuring accountability of all Government assets.
- Performs extensive research to ascertain origin or disposition of property located or missing from inventory.
- Coordinates inventory/scanning efforts with cooperating contractors, or contractors who are not part of the current inventory process but have property assets involved.
- Discusses inventory activities and provides status to customer upon request or as scheduled.
- Prepares all reports, including final inventory reports or periodic status for all higher authority
