Join a skilled defence team as an FSE Mechanic, helping keep essential military equipment mission-ready. The Role Based in Fairford, UK you’ll get to work alongside our dedicated workforce on a UK Military base. Prior Fuel Equipment experience will be required, although additional training will be provided on site. This role is a fantastic chance for you to further develop your skills as a FSE Mechanic, working on a diverse range of military equipment in an exciting environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Applies knowledge of the design, system function, and interrelation of units comprising the system; physical properties and hazards associated with the handling of various types of petroleum fuels, chemicals, and alcohol; pipefitting skills, mechanical skills. Makes periodic inspections of units to detect and correct leakage, corrosion, faulty fittings, and malfunction of mechanical units, meters, and gauges such as R-11s, C300 series, and FORCE Equipment. Inspects electrical wiring, switches, and controls for safe operating condition, grounding, and adjustment.
