The Job
We are seeking a suitably experienced and highly motivated individual to join us.
This role will perform the duties of Senior Document Controller.
This position requires the individual to have worked in a similar capacity previously with a proven track record.
The role is based at our London office.
You should be able to be client facing with the ability to develop strong relationships within the company and others.
You will work as part of a team but should be happy working independently.
This role involves working closely with the engineering staff, and would suit a bright, confident individual, with a positive outlook and good communication skills.

As Senior Document Controller you will
The Senior Document Controller will collaborate with technical members of staff as outlined in the section below.
The role will be consistent with company processes, values, and timelines to ensure that team and company goals are met.
The role may include Line management of DC staff across the UK offices.

Senior Document Controller Overview
The following outlines the core responsibilities of Document Control aspects.
This is not exhaustive and may include other tasks as required by specific projects and agreed with the MEE project lead.
Manage processes for new and existing projects.
- Create and record bid process through to ‘live’ project.
- Ensure initial documentation is available for new projects (completed PQP, project specific protocols, Project Directory).
- Liaise with ME Project Lead and BIM Manager to establish key deadlines, information requirements, and project protocols.
- Initiate project kick off meeting & provide Project PQP (to be undertaken by PM)
- Establish project protocols with external Document Controllers.
- Manage project Common Data Environments
- Issuing and recording of ME drawings and documents in line with project protocols.
- Ensure latest Design Team information is available to ME team.
- Tracking, reporting and management of workflows (RFIs, Tech Subs, commenting, etc.) and their timely responses.
- Return of comments, approvals, etc. on behalf of ME Design Team.
- Regular reporting on workflow status.
- BIM Models
- Issue process of ME model files through ACC or similar as needed. ME Project Delivery
- Initiate regular ME delivery meetings as required.
- Establish ME deliverables (TIDP, MIDP) with Project Lead and BIM Manager.
- Attend resource meetings.
- Resource tracker, assist maintain project timeline of key project submissions
- Liaise with external Design Team to ensure smooth delivery.
- Ensure project protocols are followed.
- QA of drawings/documents for correct naming/numbering/revisions prior to issue.
- Recording of deliveries
- ME Electronic Project Folders
- Ensure current project folders are being used.
- Archiving completed project folders and retrieval if required.
- Review of folder structure and improvement as required.
- Record & assist audit historic submissions.
- ME QA System
- Liaise with QA Director in the implementation of ME QA system.
- Assist the team with development of new systems.
- Day to day implementation of company processes in respect of HS&E, BS EN ISO 9001

- Advanced MS Office skills
- Experience of Deltek Vision (desirable)
- Numerate
- Excellent organisational skills
- Extremely detail orientated and methodical

- Awareness of ISO Standards and auditing, or willingness to learn
- Ability to multi-task
