Working alongside an experienced and supportive team, youll manage your own varied caseload while handling a wide range of residential property matters, from straightforward transactions to more complex and high-value instructions.

The Role
As a key member of the Residential Property Department, you will
- Manage your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to post-completion.
- Handle a broad range of residential property transactions, including freehold, leasehold, remortgages, transfers of equity and high-value or complex matters.
- Provide clear, practical and commercially focused legal advice to clients throughout the conveyancing process.
- Prepare client quotations, engagement documentation and pre-instruction paperwork.
- Draft, review and negotiate legal documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Liaise confidently with clients, estate agents, lenders, developers and other solicitors to ensure transactions progress smoothly.
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
- Deliver exceptional client service through proactive communication and effective case management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and professional introducers.
- Support business development initiatives and contribute to the continued growth of the department.
- Mentor and supervise junior colleagues where appropriate, sharing knowledge and supporting their development.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional, approachable and client-focused manner.
- Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy and varied caseload while meeting deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- A genuine ambition to build a long-term career within the firm, with a desire to take on increasing responsibility and work towards future Partnership opportunities.
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues would be an advantage but is not essential.
