About the Role
We are looking for a highly creative and detail‑driven Mid‑Weight Stylist to join our in‑house creative team at ME+EM. Working closely with the Styling Editor and Art Director, you will play a key role in delivering elevated, commercially driven styling across seasonal ecomm, campaign and social shoots. This role requires a strong styling eye, excellent organisational skills and the confidence to take ownership within a fast‑paced studio environment. You will be instrumental in helping shape and execute the ME+EM styling vision across multiple creative touchpoints, ensuring the highest standards are maintained across all output. We are looking for someone with proven ecomm and on‑set experience who thrives under pressure, understands luxury fashion aesthetics and has the ability to interpret creative direction while bringing fresh ideas and initiative to the team.
Responsibilities
- Pre‑Production & Creative Planning
- Lead shoot preparation including pulling, organising and prepping garments ahead of shoot days.
- Work closely with the Sample Co‑ordinator to ensure all product details, styling notes and intelligent design features are correctly represented on set.
- Build and oversee styling kits and accessories, ensuring all shoot tools and styling resources are fully prepared.
- Contribute to creative research, styling references and moodboard development alongside the Styling Editor and wider creative team.
- Support with look planning, outfit building and styling continuity across seasonal collections.
- On‑Set Styling
- Style and dress models confidently across ecomm, social and campaign shoots.
- Execute styling direction from the Styling Editor and Art Director while maintaining consistency across multiple looks and shot lists.
- Confidently steam, prep and refresh garments to ensure every look is executed to the highest standard.
- Work efficiently within a high‑volume studio environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Take increasing ownership of styling execution on ecomm shoots and support junior team members where required.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Act as a key styling contact across the wider business for styling queries and ad‑hoc requests.
- Collaborate closely with Creative, Retail and Marketing teams to ensure styling direction is aligned across all customer touchpoints.
- Support with styling decks, visual presentations and creative admin where required.
- Assist with social content shoots, special projects and seasonal styling initiatives.
- Work with retail teams to help bring the ME+EM styling vision to life across the store network.
Skills
- Previous experience within a Styling Assistant, Junior Stylist or Mid‑Weight Stylist position, ideally within luxury fashion, premium retail or ecomm environments.
- Strong experience working across ecomm and on‑set shoots within a fast‑paced studio environment.
- Excellent understanding of styling, proportion, layering and luxury fashion aesthetics.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Confident working collaboratively with photographers, creatives, production teams and senior stakeholders.
- Strong visual eye with both creative and commercial awareness.
- Positive, proactive and solutions‑focused with a hands‑on approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to work cross‑functionally across the business.
