About the Role
This role will provide essential administration support for the Merchandising Branch team, liaising with our warehouse, managing stock distribution into our stores and communicating with the store teams. This is a great opportunity for a bright, enthusiastic individual who is looking to learn about the retail industry and progress within a growing business.
Responsibilities
- Provide correct administration of all Branch stock movements (orders, recalls, transfers)
- Produce weekly store reports, reviewing sales and stock position to identify any opportunities to maximise sales and stock turnover
- Action store stock allocation and replenishment orders
- First contact for stores with any queries and requests
- Review and challenge store ranging decisions to optimise store stock capacity
- Awareness of trade in the wider business, and implications for stores
- Liaise with our Stores, Warehouse and Forwarders to monitor the delivery process, to get replenishment and newness into stores as quickly as possible
- Liaise with Product MAAs to monitor deliveries, highlighting to Merchandisers any risks to product launches in store
- Liaise with the VM team to maximise commercial opportunity in store whilst maintaining luxury visuals
- Provide correct administration of all external concession data
- Create and compile shipping documents to send stock to international stores
- Oversee quarterly stock takes
- Upload and manage sale files for stores during Mark Down periods
- Support the team by effectively managing the markdown administration
- Support Merchandisers with ad hoc analysis
- Work with the team to ensure all department deadlines are being met
Experience
- Excellent numerical and Excel skills
- Strong administration & analytical skills
- Confident and articulate communicator, able to build strong effective relationships
- Someone who uses initiative with a hands‑on approach and the ability to prioritise
- Ability to multi‑task in our fast paced environment
- Proven time management skills
- Interest in working in within fashion retail
- Retail experience is desirable
