About Us

ME+EM is one of the UK’s fastest-growing luxury fashion brands. We work hard, are enthusiastic to learn and are not afraid to take risks. Everyone contributes to our success at all levels, and that precisely what makes being a member of the team so rewarding. Our office and stores are always busy and fast paced, but we work just as hard to make sure it’s fun, with social activities and biannual parties. We pride ourselves on being approachable, supportive, and welcoming and ensure that everyone’s hard work is rewarded. It takes all these things to build a strong, successful business and our door is always open to new talent ready to contribute to our growth and evolution.

About the Role

ME+EM are seeking an in-house digital designer at ME+EM who creates compelling visual content across our digital ecosystem - website, email, paid media, and editorial, ensuring brand consistency and timely delivery. You’ll collaborate closely with Marketing, E-comm, Social, and the wider Creative team, working confidently across BAU and campaign spikes.

Responsibilities

  • Website & onsite: Design, prepare, QA and upload homepage modules, landing pages and campaign blocks; partner with E-comm to publish and ensure a cohesive UX across devices.
  • Email design & build: Create marketing and lifecycle emails, contribute to the transactional refresh, and maintain/update automation templates; export/slice assets ensure accessibility compliance and brand consistency.
  • Paid media assets: Produce static, carousel and lightweight motion/GIF creative for Meta, Pinterest, Google/YouTube; deliver in multiple ratios and localisations; support monthly launches and higher-volume "double" months (e.g., around seasonal collections).
  • Editorial & drops: Design editorial layouts and assets and support regular digital drops; translate campaign toolkits into effective digital executions.
  • Asset adaptation & management: Retouch, crop, resize and version imagery/video; maintain well-structured libraries and tidy Figma files for team access.
  • Guidelines & systems: Help evolve our Figma Design Guide, components and templates to drive quality and speed.
  • Collaboration & comms: Work with Brand, Copy, Performance Marketing and Social to clarify briefs, present options, take feedback and iterate quickly - balancing craft with deadlines.
  • Continuous improvement: Keep an eye on platform specs, best practices and fashion/e-comm trends; propose incremental refinements to boost performance and consistency.

Skills

  • Experience in digital design (brand or agency) with a portfolio spanning web, email, and paid social. (Exceptional candidates with ~1-2 years and strong multi-channel work will be considered.)
  • Tools: Proficient in Figma and Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator; InDesign helpful). Basic motion (GIFs/light edits) in After Effects or Premiere is a plus.
  • Craft: Excellent typography and layout, strong image treatment, meticulous eye for detail and consistency.
  • Channel fluency: Comfortable producing multi-ratio assets, preparing files for responsive contexts, and supporting larger monthly launches and peak periods.
  • Ways of working: Clear communicator, organised, calm under time pressure; able to take a brief from concept to final assets and juggle multiple priorities.
  • Nice to have: Basic HTML/CSS for email or CMS familiarity; interest in fashion/retail e-comm; experience with localisation (FR/DE).
