The role? An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Shepherd to take responsibility for managing sheep at our Borders Bowhill Estate, maximising profitability while ensuring that high standards of welfare and safety are maintained. Due to the animal welfare aspect of the role it is a requirement to live in close proximity to the estate. Rent-free tied accommodation within the estate will be provided.
The person? The successful candidate will be part of a dedicated and progressive team and will have proven experience in a similar role. A conscientious, enthusiastic and experienced Shepherd, you will demonstrate a ‘can-do’ attitude, have a flexible and positive approach to work and enjoy working as part of a team.
