Location: Manchester, UK – on site in our city centre office. Full‑time, permanent position.

Responsibilities

  • Support the editorial process for academic research journals in your domain of expertise.
  • Organise peer‑review process for submitted manuscripts and coordinate editorial decisions.
  • Handle email communication between authors, reviewers and editors.
  • Collaborate with other members of the editorial and production teams.
  • Ensure scholarly articles are accurately edited and published on time with a high degree of consistency.

Qualifications

  • PhD degree in healthcare related field (e.g. nursing, clinical care, healthcare technology, social determinants of health, healthcare management, healthcare economics, healthcare policy, emergency medicine, women’s and reproductive health).
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Team player capable of working in a dynamic, international environment.
  • Detail‑oriented with the capacity to see the big picture.
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
