  • entry‑level, full‑time permanent position at MDPI’s Manchester office.

Responsibilities Support the editorial process for academic research journals in your domain of expertise.

Organise peer‑review process for submitted manuscripts and coordinate editorial decisions.

Handle email communication between authors, reviewers and editorial board.

Collaborate with other members of the editorial and production teams.

Ensure scholarly articles are accurately edited and published within tight deadlines with a high degree of consistency.

Requirements Ph D (preferred) or master’s degree in a relevant field of Energy and Technology (including but not limited to Energy & Power Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, Mechanical & Chemical Engineering, Materials & Electrochemistry for Energy, Environmental & Sustainability Sciences, etc.).

Excellent written and spoken English skills.

Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point).

Team‑player who can work in a dynamic, international environment.

Good communication skills, strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to manage multiple manuscripts and tasks in parallel to meet deadlines.
