This is a full-time in-office role located next to Piccadilly Gardens in Manchester.
Main tasks and responsibilities:- Implement Google ads strategy for a portfolio of key brands (journals, initiatives, corporate).
- Provide support and training to others across the business on Google ads best practice.
- Weekly monitoring and monthly reporting of campaign performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with portfolio and others across the business.
- Implement paid Google ads activity for key corporate campaigns.
- Develop and implement key corporate campaigns and projects.
- Report on campaign performance.
- Academic degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or Advertising (or related).
- 1+ years’ experience of coordinating PPC activities for business on Google.
- Good knowledge of Google Ads Manager and all key functionality.
- Working knowledge of Facebook Ads Manager. Other Ad Managers is a plus.
- Knowledge of other social media and digital marketing tools such as Hootsuite, Tweetdeck, Brandwatch, Sprout and Google Ads would be advantageous.
- Good understanding of brand, communication, and digital marketing principles.
- Excellent English language skills (written and spoken); other language skills are beneficial.
- Good organisational, analytical and prioritisation abilities.
- Interest in science and science communications.
