Role Overview

MDOTM is looking for a Head of Marketing, with proven track record of engaging Institutional Investors, to transform our marketing team into a core strategic and revenue driving function. This isn't a role for someone who just wants to manage from a distance; we need a builder who thrives on getting their hands dirty while simultaneously shaping the company’s long-term trajectory. Working hand-in-hand with our C-suite, you will lead the strategy behind our awareness, content and account based marketing activities, targeting institutional investors. Your mission is to align the marketing activities deeply with our product roadmap and business goals to drive measurable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with our C-suite to define and continuously refine MDOTM’s value proposition, ensuring it is translated into highly targeted, account-specific messaging for institutional clients.
  • Define the strategic framework for lead generation and Account-Based Marketing (ABM).
  • Identify and prioritize key accounts, orchestrate multi-touch campaigns, and drive high-quality, conversion-focused pipeline.
  • Work in tight alignment with Business Development to map target accounts, personalize outreach strategies, and accelerate deal cycles through tailored content, events, and engagement plans.
  • Lead by example, balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution across campaigns, content, and high-impact events.
  • Establish a rigorous, data-led framework to measure marketing impact and ensure every initiative is aligned with MDOTM’s long-term commercial goals.
  • Manage and grow the marketing team, fostering a culture of accountability, creativity, and commercial impact.

Skills required

  • Proven track record in a senior marketing B2B role (Head of, Lead, or Manager) targeting or working within institutional investors (e.g. asset managers, banks, wealth managers).
  • Deep understanding of the investment management ecosystem, with the ability to engage credibly and speak the language of institutional clients.
  • Ability to translate complex quantitative, financial, and technological concepts into clear, compelling, and commercially effective messaging for a highly professional but non-technical audience.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and scale a marketing function from the ground up, combining strategic vision with hands-on execution.
  • Strong experience designing and executing Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies, driving targeted engagement and high-quality pipeline within defined accounts.
  • Proficiency in using data to justify pivots in strategy and to measure the success of the marketing function.
  • Ability to seamlessly switch between high-level strategy and day-to-day execution.
