We are working with a rapidly scaling, Private Equity-backed group pursuing a buy-and-build strategy. Following its initial acquisition and with a strong pipeline of further transactions, the business is entering a phase of accelerated growth. The Role
Reporting directly to the CFO and working closely with the M&A leadership team, you will support the full acquisition lifecycle and provide critical financial insight to underpin investment decisions. Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and refining financial models to assess acquisition opportunities
- Performing valuation analysis across a pipeline of target businesses
- Conducting in-house financial due diligence and identifying key risks/opportunities
- Supporting transaction execution, including coordination with external advisers
- Analysing deal pipeline and contributing to investment decision-making
- Enhancing internal valuation frameworks and acquisition processes
The Candidate
We are looking for a high-calibre, commercially minded finance professional with strong analytical capability and transaction exposure. You will likely have:
- Experience in Transaction Services, Corporate Finance, or M&A advisory
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
- Exposure to due diligence and deal execution processes
- Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience within PE backed environments is advantageous, but not essential
