The Role
Reporting to the Chairman and CFO, the newly created role of Investment Director will play a central role in shaping and delivering the group’s investment strategy. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing the investment and diversification strategy
- Identifying, originating and evaluating new investment opportunities
- Leading deal execution, including modelling, due diligence and negotiations
- Overseeing portfolio management and investment performance reporting
- Driving strategic growth initiatives and supporting long‑term value creation
- Working closely with internal stakeholders, advisors and external partners
The Candidate
The successful candidate is likely to come from a background in Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, Private Equity, Investment Banking, and will bring:
- Proven experience leading transactions from origination through to completion
- Strong technical skills in financial modelling, valuation and investment appraisal
- The ability to assess opportunities across a varied, multi‑asset portfolio
- Strong commercial judgement and a rigorous analytical approach
