A Regional Private Equity firm is seeking a Financial Accountant to join its finance function. This role offers broad exposure across fund and corporate accounting, and would suit candidates making their first move into industry from a Big 4 or Top 10 accountancy firm.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, key responsibilities include:
- Preparation and review of management accounts, journals and statutory accounts for LLPs and corporate entities
- Ownership of budgets, forecasts and variance analysis
- Supporting quarterly fund reporting, including investor schedules and reporting packs
- Leading audit processes (fund, GP/LLP) and liaising with auditors and administrators
- VAT review and wider regulatory/compliance support
- Involvement in investor reporting, co-invest vehicles and portfolio-level financial information
About you:
- Qualified or recently qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Trained in a Big 4 or Top 10 accountancy firm and now looking to move into industry
- Strong technical accounting background with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable taking ownership and working directly with senior stakeholders
- Ideal for an ambitious accountant seeking a broad, hands-on first move into industry with significant exposure to senior decision-makers.
